What I've Recently Been Up To, and A Preview of Coming Attractions

I just got back to the United States from a trip to Shanghai, China.  For a long time I had been wanting to visit China, and I found a perfect opportunity in an engineering conference that was scheduled to be held in Shanghai this month.  Unfortunately, it's late right now, I'm jet-lagged, and I have to get up early tomorrow for work, so I can't now describe my trip in more detail.  Hopefully I shall have the opportunity to do so sometime in the next several days.  Also, I have a few more posts on the role of parallel institutions in nonviolent liberation struggles.  Those of you who are regular readers of this blog, please stay tuned...
